You will need a compression bolt to fit your new lightweight carbon forks (for example those from Bombshell), especially if they have a carbon steerer. Do not use a star nut with forks with a carbon steerer!
The M Wave compression bolt allows you to tighten your forks with confidence. This will only fit forks with a 1-1/8" steerer not forks with a 1" steerer. Comes with a top cap.
Description
1-1/8" expander for carbon and aluminium steerer tubes.
Use instead starfangled nut for easier installation and to avoid damage to steerer tube.
Fits forks with an internal diameter of 22mm min to max 26mm
40mm insertion depth
Includes topcap.
