Refund policy
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order when you receive it and contact us immediately (at orders@sssracing.co.uk) if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and put it right. If you have received the wrong item we will ask you to return the item to us, we will refund you the return shipping costs up to the value of £10. Please keep a copy of your shipping receipt, as you will need to email a copy to claim your postage back.
Returns and Refunds
If you are unhappy with your products in any way and wish to obtain a refund you have 14 days (cooling off period) to instigate a return and a maximum of another 14 days to return the order. Please send all returns to SSS Racing at the address stated below with a completed returns form. Please email us at orders@sssracing.co.uk to request a returns form. We will process your return as soon as possible, usually within 2-3 working days. All returned items must be in a new, unused and in an unfitted condition, with all tags and in original packaging. All returns are checked by SSS Racing before a refund is issued. We will not accept returns for used goods. You are responsible for the postage and packaging costs for the return.
Items returned for refund outside of the 14 day window may be subject to a 10% restocking fee. Refunds are made at our discretion and can therefore be refused if we feel the reason for the returned item is not satisfactory. All refunds will be issued minus any postage and packaging costs and transaction costs incurred by SSS Racing, (e.g. PayPal fees.)
We advise you to obtain proof of posting when returning goods, as loss or damage during return shipping is your responsibility.
Any goods returned which do not comply with the returns policy will be held and will not be accepted for refund until the above conditions are met. If held goods are requested to be returned to the customer they will be subject to postage costs. This does not affect your statutory rights. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at orders@sssracing.co.uk.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like special orders, custom orders or personalised items. This includes our merchandise clothes and items as these are bespoke items from the manufacturer. In this case we do not offer refunds and do not offer exchanges due to the personalised nature of these products. We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
