SSS Racing - About Us
We have been part of the UK BMX racing community for five years. We found that there was a huge knowledge barrier to entry when getting into the sport for the first time. Like all parents we wanted to support our rider as best we could and set about learning as much as possible. We didn't know the difference between top loader stems and front loader stems. We didn't know how important getting your bar width and height right was for a riders pumping technique. We didn't know the difference between square taper cranks and two piece cranks. We made mistakes and learned the hard way, but thought there has to be a better way.
SSS Racing was born to help educate new parents and riders starting out in BMX racing. We will be regularly publishing guides and videos on components and gear to help you make an informed choice. We won't stock hundreds of varieties of each component, we will only stock top components for BMX racing from existing and emerging brands across the world so you can make an informed choice to get the best bike for your budget.

The man with the plan
The man behind the plan. Jon has had his own business interests and has been working with entrepreneurs and start-ups for over 25 years. After becoming a BMX racing family, he realised that knowledge was the largest barrier to entry for new riders in the sport. What are the essential BMX race bike upgrades?
